Cosmic Modules

Cosmic Modules was an installation created by PLAKOOKEE for Hemphill Gallery's 1700 L St Project Space in Washington, D.C. is is influenced by the aesthetic history and visual language of science fiction “B-movies.” It is a playful depiction of extra-terrestrial landscapes commonly found in these films and is enhanced by PLAKOOKEE's consideration of light and space. The installation could be seen 24 hours a day by communters through the massive windows of the bussiness district's space.
